This company is outstanding in every way. If I could, I would give them a 10-star rating. Jim McLain, the owner, is an honest man and did not try to sell me on obtaining a new underlayment for my 28 year old tile roof. In fact, he stated that I could wait a few years before replacing the underlayment. He was also very responsive to my phone calls, texts, and emails. Once I decided on getting a new underlayment, Miguel Beltran, the superintendent, took over. I cannot say enough good things about Miguel. He is professional, polite, patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my many questions and educated me about the entire process. He also sent me many photos of the entire replacement process from start to finish. Their crew is hardworking, meticulous, polite, and friendly. Each day (it took 2.5 days to complete my job), the crew left my house and yard completely clean and clutter free. They also arrived early each morning and worked late into the day. I highly recommend this company if you are in need of a roof replacement or need repairs to your existing roof. As a person who does thorough research before hiring any contractor, I knew I was hiring the best. Their track record speaks volumes about their work ethic: 5-star Google reviews, spotless record with the ROC, 5-star rating with the BBB, plus Rosie on the House certified. We recently had to replace our entire roof. Our home is twenty years old and we began to have some roof leaks in the living room area. I had several companies come out and explain the roof issues and give estimates. Surprisingly, the other two companies that quoted a higher estimate, never went onto our roof to investigate things. They both told me, "oh all roofs are the same after 20 years." I found that strange since seeing the roof's condition is necessary for a quote. Jim, the owner of Canyon State Roofing and Consulting came and went up to our roof and took photos so we could see just what we were dealing with. He explained things very well, and within a few days, emailed all the details and the costs that would be involved. He even gives different opportunities to choose from when it comes to supplies. He was very patient especially explaining roofs, materials and the bird-block product. Was very patient while I took some time deciding on the color of the bird-block. After deciding the path we wanted to take, a full and detailed contract was emailed and a date was given when they would begin, when a dumpster would arrive and when supplies would arrive. His team of men were busy and accomplished much during each day. They were respectful to our property with cleaning up as well. Jim would stop by often and would go onto the roof to see their work and progress. We would highly recommend Jim and Canyon State Roofing & Consulting.

Hello , my name is David R. and I’m not generally one of those people who writes reviews however, I believe this is one circumstance where I feel it’s deserved. I had Jim from Canyon State Roofing over to do my estimate on my roof repair. Jim was very thorough with the process of determining the extent of the damage and repair, needed. Jim climbed up on the roof and removed several roof tiles in multiple areas to examine the underlayment. With that being said, it allowed him to come up with itemized materials list related to the repair which reflected in the bid once I received it via email. There were no surprises! I will say I did my due diligence and had other contractors come out to give me a bid as well. However, Jim’s bid was slightly better than the rest but that’s not what secured Canyon State Roofing for being the contractor for me. His honesty and integrity showed during his visit, and I felt comfortable with what I was paying for. Also they did more than what the other contractors were offering. For example, they lifted all the tiles that were in valleys, in those areas that could accumulate debris and create dams which can redirect the water allowing it flow and get into the underlayment and cause water damage. They went and cleaned all those areas out, along with replacing any cracked or chipped tiles. I would DEFINITELY recommend Canyon State Roofing if you’re looking to either have a complete roof replacement or just a repair

I’m not usually one who jumps online to write reviews, but in this case it would’ve felt wrong not to. Canyon State Roofing was outstanding from start to finish. Jim handled the initial consultation, and honestly, he set the tone for the entire experience. He walked me through everything clearly, answered all of my questions (and I had plenty), and broke things down in a way that actually made sense. No sales pitch. No fluff. Just straight, honest information so I could make an informed decision. Miguel, the job superintendent, was just as impressive. Professional, courteous, and thorough. He made sure I understood what was happening at every stage and kept things moving smoothly. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and he absolutely does. The crew was equally solid. They were respectful, worked hard, and cleaned up at the end of every single day. Not halfway. Not “good enough.” Thoroughly! They were awesome. I’ll be honest: I don’t typically have glowing things to say about contractors. But I genuinely can’t find a single negative thing to mention here. My roof looks phenomenal and I feel confident I will not have any issues in the future. Canyon State Roofing did exactly what they said they would do, and they did it well.
