We had four estimates for our project and felt quite good about a few of the businesses, but here is why we went with Canyon State for our Re-Roof – they were quick to get back to us and schedule an inspection; they (Miguel [Onsite Project Manager], Jim [Owner], Robyn [Scheduler], and Crew) were always kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and patient with questions; the inspection was thorough and included photos and drone photos; Miguel conducted the inspection and thoroughly explained the recommended work and indicated he would be our daily point-of-contact throughout the project; Canyon State has the credentials – A+ BBB since 1996, Clean ROC License (License, Bonded and Insured), Tile Roofing Institute certified, and a Rosie on the House Certified Contractor; they guaranteed the crew would be in-house installers not subcontractors; they offered the best warranties with their contractor warranty matching the manufacturer warranty; and they were absolutely cost competitive. So how did it go? Well, they got us on the schedule promptly; Miguel did an excellent job keeping us informed on progress and works; the crew worked every day (except Sunday) - beginning each day at the same prompt time; the crew cleaned-up daily before leaving the site; we even had a rain event during the install and while Miguel assured us they prepared for that, he still came out to inspect the site that evening. The roof and workmanship by the Crew looks great. Miguel truly took his time to explain the technical aspects of the project and how things needed to be done during installation to ensure the quality work that would guarantee our home would have a roof we could trust for years to come. He was onsite daily to ensure that quality workmanship. And now we are happy to be able to look forward to enjoying rainstorms again!

I had a fantastic experience working with Miguel and his team at Canyon State Roofing (CSR). I had received a handful of quotes from other companies before I reached out to CSR and the customer service difference was why I decided to go with CSR. I reached out to CSR on a Saturday and had a roofing inspection with Miguel that same week. He was extremely thorough in his inspection. Upon completion he sat down with me and walked me through everything that needed to be done to update my roof and took pictures to show me what he was seeing. I recieved a quote within 2 days for the job and Miguel gave me a call to walk through the quote. I particularly liked how the quote was itemized and included everything that CSR was going to be doing to my roof with step by step descriptions. Other quotes I had received did not go into this much detail and it gave me a lot of confidence to start the job. CSR was able to schedule me within 2 weeks of approving the quote, and they were very up front about the job schedule and plan. I really appreciated that they do a pre job meeting to go over everything one more time. My roof took 5 days to complete, and at 35 years old, it was in pretty rough shape. Miguel regularly sent me picture updates of the job progress at significant stages. His team worked extremely hard, and I was really impressed with the quality of their work. I called this group to have my roof inspected after I noticed some issues with animals potentially getting under my roof. During the roof inspection, I was informed that the original roofing was short tiles, was done poorly, and definitely needed some solid work. The inspection from Canyon State Roofing gave me a lot of confidence that I would get a quality replacement. The team working on my roof was able to get it done while I was out of town minus some finishing work. The final result fixed multiple issues with gutters that were attracting bird nests, improved ventilation, and really sharpened up the look of the house. There was a little trouble with dripped paint from touch up work that they were glad to come back and fix. I really appreciated that they were happy to fix that without any protest. Communication was great. They were better than most contractors about cleaning up debris. I'd definitely recommend them to my neighbors. Well worth the money!
