I invited estimates from five companies, only Canyon State sent the owner, Jim McLain, to see me. In my conversation with him, I felt that he was truly looking for the best solution for my 20 year old roof. He assured me that I would be very happy with their process, especially the superintendent, Miguel Beltran. I made the decision to go ahead with a complete roof replacement. The crew was very methodical, after watching them work for five days and interacting with Mr. Beltran I came to believe that they were doing my roof the way they would do their own. When replacing a roof you usually find some broken tiles and others get broken in the roofing process. The color of replacements can't be matched exactly to 20 year old tile. I was concerned about the mismatch. Mr. Beltran assured me I needn't worry. He was correct. The new tiles were placed in an inconspicuous area and probably only a roofing professional could tell where they were. They have been in business for around 25 years, that fact makes me feel good about the 20 year warranty they gave us. It's only been a couple of months now, but I would definitely do business with Canyon State again. It didn't hurt that their price was the lowest for the same product than the other four companies.

I am happy to highly recommend Canyon State Roofing and Consulting. We had leaks in multiple areas and knew it was time for work. We had four estimates for our project and felt quite good about a few of the businesses, but here is why we went with Canyon State for our Re-Roof – they were quick to get back to us and schedule an inspection; they (Miguel [Onsite Project Manager], Jim [Owner], Robyn [Scheduler], and Crew) were always kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and patient with questions; the inspection was thorough and included photos and drone photos; Miguel conducted the inspection and thoroughly explained the recommended work and indicated he would be our daily point-of-contact throughout the project; Canyon State has the credentials – A+ BBB since 1996, Clean ROC License (License, Bonded and Insured), Tile Roofing Institute certified, and a Rosie on the House Certified Contractor; they guaranteed the crew would be in-house installers not subcontractors; they offered the best warranties with their contractor warranty matching the manufacturer warranty; and they were absolutely cost competitive. So how did it go? Well, they got us on the schedule promptly; Miguel did an excellent job keeping us informed on progress and works; the crew worked every day (except Sunday) - beginning each day at the same prompt time; the crew cleaned-up daily before leaving the site; we even had a rain event during the install and while Miguel assured us they prepared for that, he still came out to inspect the site that evening. The roof and workmanship by the Crew looks great. Miguel truly took his time to explain the technical aspects of the project and how things needed to be done during installation to ensure the quality work that would guarantee our home would have a roof we could trust for years to come. He was onsite daily to ensure that quality workmanship. And now we are happy to be able to look forward to enjoying rainstorms again!

This company is outstanding in every way. If I could, I would give them a 10-star rating. Jim McLain, the owner, is an honest man and did not try to sell me on obtaining a new underlayment for my 28 year old tile roof. In fact, he stated that I could wait a few years before replacing the underlayment. He was also very responsive to my phone calls, texts, and emails. Once I decided on getting a new underlayment, Miguel Beltran, the superintendent, took over. I cannot say enough good things about Miguel. He is professional, polite, patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. He answered all of my many questions and educated me about the entire process. He also sent me many photos of the entire replacement process from start to finish. Their crew is hardworking, meticulous, polite, and friendly. Each day (it took 2.5 days to complete my job), the crew left my house and yard completely clean and clutter free. They also arrived early each morning and worked late into the day. I highly recommend this company if you are in need of a roof replacement or need repairs to your existing roof. As a person who does thorough research before hiring any contractor, I knew I was hiring the best. Their track record speaks volumes about their work ethic: 5-star Google reviews, spotless record with the ROC, 5-star rating with the BBB, plus Rosie on the House certified. The entire team at Canyon State Roofing deserves a 5-star rating. This includes Jim (owner), Robyn (administrator), Joe (sales), Mike (job foreman), and the entire roof removal and installation crew. Canyon State's level of customer service and attention to detail is truly top notch. Robyn in the office was friendly, personable, and quick to respond to any needs or questions. Joe was patient with my questions, provided thorough descriptions of the remediation my roof might need, provided samples to help me choose the right shingle, and worked with me to find the right solution for my budget and long-term home ownership goals. On the day of my roof installation, Canyon State's friendly crew covered my entire yard and plants with heavy duty tarps to prevent damage and, after the job was completed, the team carefully removed the tarps, swept the driveway, went over the yard with a magnet for loose nails, and disposed of all leftover debris, leaving my yard safe and tidy. Throughout the installation, I was kept apprised of the schedule and any issues. My new roof is beautiful and will protect my home for years to come. More importantly, I have every confidence that should there be an issue, Canyon State will make it right. I give them my highest recommendation - impeccable!!!
